New Edition from Kayrock Screenprinting

I had a great time with the fine people of Kayrock Screenprinting yesterday.  I was invited to produce an edition for an upcoming exhibition about prints which Karl is putting together.  I decided on a piece which fulfills my desire to make the world a blacker place, and references the process of its own printing.  We used a really sweet deep-dark graphite ink underneath two layers of heavy Channel Black with a silica flattening agent.  The graphite makes the edges pop just a bit and the black space came out nice and super-flat so it could suck the light out of the room. I’ll post an update once the prints are officially made available for purchase and when the exhibition is opening in a couple months.  Proper documentation will also come later, but for now, enjoy some pics from the printing.
