2011: Mystical Geometries
Theme: Mystical Geometries
Inspired by a combination of Minimalism, Alchemical/Esoteric philosophies, and Tantric painting this first suite of monthly drawings will explore form, material and repetition as a way of developing a pure and transcendent space on the page. These are working drawings as I continue developing a new series of paintings titled Et Sic In Infinitum inspired by the etching used in Robert Fludd’s 17th c. publication: Utriusque Cosmi, Maioris scilicet et Minoris, metaphysica, physica, atque technica Historia, representing the Prima Materia of the Universe.
